Terms & Conditions

Customer Care, Shipping & Returns

These terms and conditions apply to all the goods that are displayed on SpottedJoy.com and SpottedJoy.ca. This includes all products listed as being 'Out of Stock' or 'Sold'. All information, descriptions, and images that we provide about our goods are as accurate as possible.  However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images. Colours (i.e.: of fabrics) may appear differently in person than they appear on a screen. We attempt to provide the most accurate representation possible. You agree to purchase goods from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject, or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will provide a full refund in the amount you paid. Please monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument which you have chosen. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize Spotted Joy to charge the amount due to this payment instrument. We will provide you with a complete receipt for all charges incurred.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

When you purchase goods from SpottedJoy.com or SpottedJoy.ca, the goods will be delivered by Canada Post. Delivery will take place within 2-4 business days on existing goods and 2-3 weeks on custom orders (always sooner when possible).  Delivery times, however, may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and statutory holidays.

You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price of the goods you purchase. 

If you purchase goods from us for delivery to a destination outside of Canada, your package may be subject to import duties and/or taxes applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any such duties and/or taxes. We are not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and are not liable for any failure by you to pay them.

We require that you provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of receiving inaccurate or incomplete delivery information.

REFUNDS

Refund requests must be made within 15 days after receipt of your goods. 

Refunds are not available on Books

Please return item to 30 Alhart St. Richmond Hill, Ontario L4E 5E8, Canada. Spotted Joy does not cover the shipping cost for returns.  Upon receiving the product, at the above address, in its original condition (unused, unwashed, undamaged), a refund will be applied to the same payment tool used for purchasing.

SEVERABILITY

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms & Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms & Conditions.  All other provisions will not be altered or affected, and will be considered valid. 

CHANGES

These Terms & Conditions may be altered from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site. We also reserve the right to change prices of products without notice.
